BODY SPACE TIME
Prints by Ulrike Sturm

Ulrike is a printmaker as well as a PhD candidate at CQU. She also lectures in creative industries and digital media at CQU.

The series of prints in this exhibition have an unusual history. In TEXT Journal Special Issue 34, the themes of Body, Space and Time are explored by twelve writers. In a departure from the format of most academic publications, the editors engaged with the idea of an artist response to the texts of these twelve writers.

In a postscript chapter to Special Issue 34, the artist discusses her thought processes in arriving at an idea for each writer's text.
